CELLSTAR® Cell Culture Dishes
Our CELLSTAR® cell culture dishes are manufactured to meet the highest quality standards at Greiner Bio-One. This assortment of dishes offers a range of growth sizes from 8.7 to 143 cm². These dimensions are provided in nominal sizes of 35, 60, 100, and 145 mm. For culture dishes associated with growth areas of either 58 or 143 cm², we supply variants with side heights of 20 mm (for special applications). In addition to our standard formats we offer 35mm cell culture dishes that are equipped with four inner rings. Our standard cell culture dishes have been treated in order to optimise growth and adhesion. However, we are also capable of providing sterile cell culture trays without any type of coating for suspension culture. Similar to all of our cell culture laboratory products, this range of dishes is packed user-friendly within sterile conditions. This allows technicians to safely handle their samples with a wide variety of cell culture methods without the risk of cell culture contamination. Our dishes are fitted with ventilation cams to promote optimal gas exchange levels. These cell culture dishes can be easily stacked and thus, offer superior space-saving qualities. Our CELLSTAR® vessels have been constructed from crystal-clear polystyrene; providing excellent levels of transparency, and they can, therefore, be used in conjunction with microscopes. In addition, our dishes are free from detectable levels of RNA, DNA, endotoxins, and human DNA These vessels are pyrogen free and non-cytotoxic.
Below is a brief overview of the properties associated with our cell culture dishes:
- Constructed of highly transparent polystyrene
- Can be stacked to save laboratory space
- Provided with ventilation cams
- Available without TC treatment for suspension culture Sterile and user-friendly packaging
- Wide range of sizes available
The CELLSTAR® OneWell Plate™
We are likewise pleased to offer highly transparent OneWell Plates™ for when a large number of cells must be cultured. The outer dimensions of these panels fully comply with current ANSI standards. Multiple plates can be used in conjunction when handling liquids and addressing the needs of automated cell culture systems. Our OneWell Plates™ guarantee a sterile cell culture environment, and they will also help to prevent cross-culture contamination. Thanks to the beveled edges found on the covers and plates, a secure and optimal fit will be ensured. The TC-treated version of our CELLSTAR® OneWell Plate™ boasts increased hydrophilic properties of its surface which facilitates the culture of adherent cells. Handling and required incubation spaces are optimised when compared to standard round cell culture dishes. Beyond the cell culture applications, our OneWell Plates™ are also suitable as liquid containers or for blotting.
- sterile multi-purpose vessels
- Safe and secure lids
- Fully compliant with all ANSI standards
- Automatic handling is possible
CELLSTAR® FourWell Plate™
The line of four-well plates manufactured by Greiner allows users to culture cells on slides while remaining in accordance with an ANSI-rated HTS-compatible plate. This four-chambered plate is particularly suitable for carrying out parallel experiments. These numbered wells prevent the accidental exchange of cell or tissue samples. Semicircular depressions found at the bottom and top of each compartment are intended to facilitate the removal of slides. Built-in stop cams ensure that the slide does not cover or otherwise obscure the depressions. The CELLSTAR® FourWell Plate™ possesses the same material properties as the undivided CELLSTAR® OneWell Plate™.
- Safe and secure closure methods
- Standard ANSI dimensions
- Numbered wells
- Equipped with cams
- Recesses to facilitate slide removal
CELLview™ - Cell Culture Dishes with Glass Bottom
This 35-millimeter polystyrene tray with an autofluorescence-free glass bottom provides excellent results when performing high-resolution microscopy. Examples include in-vitro cell cultivation or cloning experiments. The subdivided version of the CELLview™ cell culture dish also provides the option of multiplex analysis. The quartering of this cell culture dish offers compartments with an approximate growth area of 1.9 cm². As a result, the required number of cells and reagents per experiment will be significantly minimised. The design of the dish bottom ensures optimal thermal conductivity in heated platforms; helping to avoid temperature fluctuations. This is particularly important to obtain accurate results during live cell analyses. Thanks to an innovative design, our CELLview™ dish ensures maximum planarity and a consistent working distance.
- Colourless and highly transparent borosilicate glass
- Thickness of 175 μm
- No light depolarisation
- Maximum spectral transmission
