SEPARATION

A variety of separation techniques can be used specifically to enrich certain molecules (dna, rna, proteins, organelles, vesicles, micelles, cells, etc.) Based on complex biological mixtures (cells and tissue, blood, urine and other biological fluid homogenates), so that they can be studied separately. Separation of these fluids can either be based on the differences in the sedimentation rates of the various particles in a fluid or on the differences in their densities.

With the product Leucosep™, Greiner Bio-One has achieved its aim of optimising the density gradient through easy-to-use Centrifugation. In addition, the OncoQuick® product was developed to widen the scope of application to the oncology sector.
