9NC COAGULATION SODIUM CITRATE 3.2%

VACUETTE® 9NC coagulation 3.2 % trisodium citrate (0.109 mol/l) tubes are filled with a buffered trisodium citrate solution. The choice of concentration depends on the laboratory's procedure. The mixing ratio is 1 part citrate to 9 parts blood. Selected versions are also available with a transparent label.

The coagulation tubes are also often referred to as a 'coag tube.' VACUETTE® Blood Collection Tubes can also be used in tandem with Greiner Bio-One Safety Collection devices which have a semi-automatic safety feature.
