BLOOD GROUPING
VACUETTE® blood grouping tubes preserve red blood cells. They are used for determination in immunohaematology (ABO/Rh determination, antibody screening and antigen phenotyping in red cells) as well as for tissue typing (HLA).
VACUETTE® blood grouping tubes are available in three versions: ACD-A, ACD-B and CPDA.
ACD blood grouping tubes from Greiner Bio-One contain the additives citric acid, trisodium citrate and dextrose. The additive dextrose maintains the cell metabolism. In addition to citric acid and dextrose, CPDA tubes also contain monobasic sodium phosphate and adenine, which helps replenish ATP.
All three tube versions have their specific concentration and additive ratio.
