Greiner Bio-One is pleased to offer a wide variety of cell culture flasks which are intended to suit rigorous laboratory requirements. Flexible cell culture surface options, numerous volumes and proprietary filtering methods are able to provide targeted solutions within controlled settings.
This video shows how much fun you can have with our cell culture flasks in your lab.
Cell Culture Flasks: Flasks and TC surface options
All of our TC-treated flasks are constructed from high-quality polystyrene, ensuring durability and longevity. Furthermore, we offer a range of cell culture flask sizes depending upon laboratory requirements. We also offer culture flasks for suspension cultures. These employ unique and reliable surface treatments developed by Greiner Bio-One. Colour-coded caps help to differentiate between surface types.
Cell Culture Flask Volumes and Growth Areas
Greiner Bio-One manufactures a wide variety of T-flasks and, depending upon the required surface area, the available flask growth areas include:
25 cm² (T25 flasks)
75 cm² (T75 flasks)
175 cm² (T175 flasks)
Please note that our range of suspension culture flasks (non-treated) can also be used to accommodate volumes ranging between 50 and 650 milliliters.
TC and Advanced TC Flasks
We at Greiner Bio-One have developed cell culture flasks with surface treatments for a wide range of applications. Our cell culture surfaces for adherent cells receive a specific physical treatment (TC treatment = tissue culture treatement) that ensures adhesion and growth of such cells. Numerous volumes are available and they are equipped wether with standard or filter screw cap. The line of TC-treated flasks manufactured by Greiner Bio-One incorporates Advanced TC™ cell culture flasks as well - important when adherence is an issue during laboratory experiments.
Advanced TC™ products are particularly suitable for the expansion of highly sensitive or demanding cells as well as for culture under limited growth conditions. Advanced TC™ scores with this:
Equal and consistent adhesion of the cells
Optimized and homogeneous cell growth
Excellent Morphology
Sterile, non-biological surface
Storage and transport at room temperature
CELLSTAR® suspension culture flasks
In order to facilitate the optical control of your cultures, these bottles also have a double-sided graduation like our bottles for adherent cell culture. With their hydrophobic surfaces, they are also well suited for embrionic stem cells and hybridioma cells.
Flasks with Cell-Repellent Surface
In the event that cells must be prevented from adhering to the surface area of a flask or plate, we offer T-flasks with a cell-repellent surface. This surface reliably prevents cell attachment in suspension cultures of semiadherent and adherent cell lines where standard hydrophobic surfaces are insufficient.
Cell Culture Flasks for Automated Systems
The standard microplate footprint of our AutoFlask™ augments compatibility while expediting the processes associated with laboratory liquid handling systems. The inclusion of a multiple-entry septum likewise ensures that the sterility of any associated contents will not be jeopardised when performing standard laboratory tasks. As should be expected, several surface treatments are available.
