EVOPROTECT is the next evolution of safety in blood collection.
The semi-automatic spring mechanism protects the user from the risk of needlestick injuries and makes the daily task of blood collection easier. Because we believe that every needlestick is one too many.
The VACUETTE® EVOPROTECT is ergonomically designed and intuitive to use. It consists of a winged needle with a safety mechanism, which is suitable for one-handed use due to its special design. By activating the safety mechanism when the needle is still in the vein, needle stick injuries are largely eliminated.
A clearly audible click confirms that the safety mechanism is successfully activated. The needle is then automatically retracted and, at the same time, safely and irreversibly enclosed in the safety shield.
The extra-thin walls of the 21G and 23G needles have a positive effect on flow rate and thus the duration of blood collection/infusion. The product may be used for blood collection or short term infusion for up to 4 hours.
- The material and surface design of the wings provide a simple, safe grip and optimal hold during the puncture.
- A viewing window between the needle and the tube shows whether the puncture was successful
- The tubing is particularly flexible.
