SAFETY Blood Collection/Infusion Sets

The VACUETTE® Safety Blood Collection Set for infusion is a sterile winged needle connected to flexible tubing and is intended for single use. Following blood collection or infusion, the manually activated safety mechanism is activated while the needle is still in the vein thereby providing protection against needlestick injuries. The blue body of the butterfly infusion set has a visual flash which makes it possible to see when venipuncture is successful.  The safety blood collection / infusion set is also available pre-assembled with blood culture holder.
