VACUETTE® crossmatch tubes are used for serological compatibility testing.

The crossmatch is used for in vitro compatibility testing.

Crossmatch tubes from Greiner Bio-One are available in two versions: CAT serum crossmatch (additive: silicon dioxide) and K3 EDTA crossmatch (additive: potassium EDTA).

The tube type CAT serum crossmatch contains a clot activator which is used for crossmatching with serum, while the other type contains K3EDTA and is used for crossmatching with whole blood.
