SAMPLIX® ACCESSORIES FOR BLOOD COLLECTION

Samplix® is a complete evacuated blood collection system for the collection of human samples. The Samplix® product line consists of Samplix® Multi-sample Needles, the Samplix® Tube Holder and the Samplix® Evacuated Blood Collection Tubes. The products are tested for optimal compatibility with one another, ensuring reliable use in everyday routines.

Samplix® Multi-sample Needles

Samplix® Multi-sample Needles are manufactured with medical grade stainless steel. The double-ended needles are furthermore triple-bevelled, and manufacturing conforms to ISO 9626.

They are siliconized for a comfortable insertion into the vein. The back-end needle is covered with a rubber sleeve for ensuring that no blood flows out after successful vein penetration or between changing tubes.

Samplix® needles are available in three different needle gauges and are colour coded according to ISO 6009, allowing a user to choose the right product for each situation. The illustrations on each shelf box show the individual steps for correct usage of the product.

The needles are sterilized by ethylene oxide and remain sterile until the paper seal around the middle of the needle is broken.

Samplix® Tube Holder

• Tube Holder is made from plastic
• Intended to be used with Samplix® Multi-sample Needles
• Single-use only: This protects both patient and user from the possibility of infectious diseases contamination

After use the Samplix® Tube Holder is to be disposed of immediately together with the assembled multi-sample needle in an approved disposal container in accordance with the procedures of your facility.
