Greiner Bio-One offers a range of distilled, demineralised and sterile non-injectable water products for rinsing.

Distilled water is obtained by reverse osmosis followed by distillation.  It is used for rinsing medical and surgical equipment and for final rinsing of laboratory instruments. The container is filled under aseptic conditions. The product complies with the current european pharmacopoeia.

As a rule, demineralised (or deionised) water contains no ions. Some uncharged substances (organic matter, bacteria, etc.) May remain, though.

Sterile water is used for rinsing and irrigation and is not to be used for injections. The product complies with the current european pharmacopoeia.
