Reliable Imaging Without Optical Compromises
Fluorescence-based microscopy and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) place extremely high demands on microplate quality. Common challenges such as optical distortion, background fluorescence, uneven light transmission or plate deformation can significantly compromise data quality and reproducibility.
SensoPlate® glass bottom microplates were developed to address the optical limitations of conventional plastic plates.
Featuring high‑quality glass bottoms and developed in close collaboration with researchers and instrument manufacturers, they deliver excellent optical performance while maintaining full compatibility with standard microplate systems. This enables accurate and reproducible measurements from high‑resolution microscopy to high‑throughput assays.
- Clear, distortion-free imaging for fluorescence microscopy and FCS, reducing artifacts that can affect quantitative analysis
- Coverslip-equivalent glass bottom (175 µm) ensures optimal light transmission and full compatibility with high-end confocal and fluorescence optics
- Black plate frame with highly transparent glass bottom minimizes background fluorescence and improves signal-to-noise ratios for more reliable results
- Available in 24, 96, 384 and 1536 well formats, allowing seamless scaling
- Consistent plate geometry and planarity, supporting reproducible measurements across all wells and formats
