DNA/RNA Oligomers with high quality
A wide range of synthesis is available from PCR primers with a reasonable price to a semi-large scale with mg order. In addition, a variety of chemical modification such as fluorescence labeling is provided in response to your needs.
Due to the frequent use and the high demand of the speedy delivery, our core products are delivered on the next day of the order anywhere in Japan. Those products include the DNA oligo primers with a scale of Ultra, Fix Price, Medium (no modification), and normal (no modification) purified by the reverse-phase column chromatography or desalting column.
Custom DNA Synthesis
- Fix Price Oligo. 990 JPY fix price up to the length of 30 base. This product is available only via Webshop.
- Ultra Oligo. Standard oligo for PCR and Sequence primers.
- Medium Oligo. Relatively short chain of oligos with a great quantity. In addition some of the listed chemical modification options are available for this product range.
- Normal Oligo. A special modification can be applied for normal oligo. A synthesis of a long oligo chain and an especially high purity are available in response to the customer’s needs. In addition, normal oligo offers a synthesis of RNA and a great quantity as well.
- Plate Oligo. Plate oligo is delivered in a 96 well plate with a very reasonable cost performance and a speedy delivery. Each well may contain a different sort of DNA with a diverse sequence of your interest. Please note that the cost equivalent to the one of 15 base is charged for each empty well and the wells containing less than 15 base of DNA.
Custom RNA Synthesis
- ssRNA, 2’-O-MeRNA,Chimera oligo. High quality of ssRNA and a variety of chimera oligo are available with a reasonable price. We can also offer you ribonuclease resistant 2’-O-MeRNA.
- dsRNA. Fix price for the synthesis of dsRNA up to 30 bp. After purification, the annealing is carried out. You will receive the products dry.
Before the service of the custom DNA synthesis was available, the researchers and the technical staffs used to produce an artificial gene by themselves. The process is very complicated including the design of the sequence and template, PCR, sub-cloning, transformation, and then the check of the final DNA products by sequencing. Our custom-made artificial gene products are aimed to save the time of the researchers and to support the speed up of their study.
Fasmac has a long history in the field of artificial gene and has delivered the products with a high quality to many customers.
PNA is an artificially synthesized polymer similar to DNA or RNA. Yet, its structure differs from the one of DNA and RNA. PNA is peptide bound, while DNA and RNA are phosphate bound. PNA is useful as an antisense and a probe due to its higher binding strength to complementary DNAs and thus makes it possible to detect a target DNA and RNA with a higher sensitivity in a shorter time than the DNA probe. Its greater specificity also helps detect a single base displacement more easily than the DNA probe. These properties are of interest of various medical fields, such as antisense therapy, diagnostic assay, and molecular biology research.
DNA Sequencing
Fasmac DNA sequencing services offer you a standard sequencing by means of Sanger’s method, a fragment analysis, and a next generation sequencing by means of Miseq sequencer by Illuminakk.

FASMAC DNA sequencing service-High quality & speedy delivery of the data. We try to respond a variety of requests from each customer. It covers various options, ranging from a very simple one named Rental Service in which we receive sequencing-reaction subjected samples with ddNTPs from a customer and send em sequence data back, to extensive ones which include basic post-sequencing analyses such as data-assembling and BLAST searches. The number of the sequencing also varies greatly from one single sample to 96 samples provided by a 96 well plate.
One-Pass Sequencing
One-Pass Sequencing service contains the purity and concentration check of the provided samples from a customer, sequencing reaction with ddNTPs, sequence data QC and second electrophoresis-shot when the first shot did not show good data. In addition, we go back to performing thermal cycling for your samples if the second shot was nevertheless unsuccessful. Please send us template DNAs and primers in separate containers. Please contact our sales staff if you need a universal primer.
Premix1
For Premix 1 service, a customer prepares the mixture of his or her template DNA sample and a primer. The service contains sequence-reactioning with ddNTPs for the provided samples, data QC and second electrophoresis-shot when the first shot did not show good data. In addition, we go back to performing thermal cycling for your samples if the second shot was nevertheless unsuccessful.
Premix2
Premix 2 is a service very similar to Premix 1. The difference is that Premix 2 lacks second thermal cycling and its downstream steps when the data obtained in both of first and second electrophoresis-run were not good.Simple but good enough, cost saving - that's the advantage of Premix 2.
Normal Sequencing
The most previlaged DNA sequeincing service provided, A variety of options are available and moreover some options are covered by the basic fee.

Rental service is suitable for the customers who has a limited access to a DNA sequencer. We recommend this service also for the sequencing of the samples prepared under special conditions.

DNA sequense technology has been developed greatly these years. A variety of diverse methods have been established depending on the purpose of use, such as parentage test and DNA identification of breed. Fragment analysis like microsatellite method and AFLP method is one of the major DNA sequence methods.
We Greiner Bio-One Co., Ltd., in alliance with FASMAC Co., Ltd., offer you a fragment DNA analysis using capillary sequencer with a reasonable price, for a DNA test for identifying breed and for a development of technology such as a screening of DNA marker.
Please send us a PCR products amplified using a fluorescent primers. We will perform DNA sequencing of your sample by capillary electrophoresis and send you back the obtained data.
We Greiner Bio-One Co., Ltd., in alliance with FASMAC Co., Ltd., offers you NGS specially fitted to Bacteria and Archaea. We provide you with NGS-related services in reasonable packages, 16S rRNA Amplicon Analysis and Microoorganism Genome Draft Analysis.
16S rRNA Amplicon Analysis
- Supply primers designed to amplify 250 bp-long V4 region on 16S rRNA to a customer
- Perform PCR using aforementioned primers, purify PCR product and check its concentration at your own site before sending samples to us
- After receipt, your samples go into QC at our facility and run by MiSeq sequencer
- Data analysis by Qiime and visualization before data delivery
Microorganism Genome Draft Analysis
- Send us purified genome DNA of Bacteria or Archaea
- After receipt, sample library is prepared at our facility for MiSeq sequencer analysis
